We will be accepting applications for our 2019 holiday market starting September 1, 2019.
To participate, you must make, or grow, the items you wish to sell (no imported finished items) and live in the San Diego area. If you are an artist or designer and have your items printed or sewn by a third party, we require that they be located in the United States and that the art is designed solely by you. We will give preference to Encinitas residents if there are duplicate items vendors wish to sell.
Booth spaces are 10′ x 10′ square and all spaces are corner spaces. The booth fee is $65 for the Spring market and $75 for the December market. If you wish to share a booth space with another maker, please let us know as there will be an additional $10 charge. We will then include their business name on our Maker page, as well as consider their goods for a feature on our Instagram page.
Please note that submitting the form below does not guarantee you a space. We carefully select makers so that there is good variety of different types of items offered at the market. If you are accepted to participate, we will then contact you via email, offer you a space, and send you an invoice. Your space will not be confirmed until payment is received.
Please note that the City of Encinitas requires that the following rules be followed by participants in this event:
-No glass containers are permitted in the park (but glass art and jewelry are okay). Glass containers that are not permitted include: beverage containers, glass candle holders, glass body care containers, glass spray bottles, and glass essential oil vials. We are working on trying to have an exemption made, so this may be revised in the future but for now, no glass containers.
-Single use plastic bags are prohibited, so please have paper bags on hand if needed for your customers and encourage the use of reusable bags (EMC 11.26).
-There can be no sales of products containing any form, seed, derivative, mixture or resin of marijuana (EMC 9.21).
-All participants must be have breakdown, clean up, and loading completed by sunset.
-All participants will be required to sign a release of liability.
